Chainlink CCIP Integration : A Modest Proposal

The fee token would depend on the utility of the CCIP router that is implemented. When someone swaps an arbitrary coin on Thorswap for ZNN, that fee is assessed in the native token of the source chain.

Imagine one of you wanted to start a Zenon-compatible web3 sportsbook. Impossible right now beacause Zenon doesn’t have native smart contracts. You already have wallet-connect compatibility, but it would be easy enough to build a metamask snap (is this in the pipeline?)

If CCIP was integrated we could develop routers to work with native Zenon messaging. You could represent bets as on-chain transactions and CCIP to relay bet settlement outcomes. Obviously I use this example because this use case would require Chainlink oracles for realtime sports data .

You don’t think it would bring value to have direct connectivity to other blockchains? You don’t think direct bridges with AVAX, SOL, BNB would be beneficial? How long did it take to develop your current bridge? I haven’t used it, how long does it take to bridge from ERC to native ZNN?

Besides Bitcoin, no i do not honestly wtf do they bring to the table? The focus right now and the massive under developed potential is on building the NoM.

If were trying to be efficient with AZ funds then the only bridge worth focusing on would be to Bitcoin Network. Market dominance is pretty obvious even without the tech interop.

You are finally talking in my native alien language. Since I finally understood your language, I’ll bite.

There’s not a single non EVM compatible blockchain on this list. Not even Solana. Are you saying we’ll get Chainlink to build support for native NoM transactions with a custom router ?

This will definitely require an embedded contract to receive the messaging. I don’t think we could support all their EVM stuff, the parser would be for a very specific purpose.

So, Professor? Nazenonarov, what’s your specific use-case?

Sell me this CCIP integration.

Thank you for some explanation

It has and it’s called Supernova. Zenon has EVM compatibility through its EVM sidechain called Supernova.

We’re just starting to build new infra for it:

Bridge: Zenon bridge
Explorers: Novascan, Supernovascan
DEX: BagSwap (TBA)

There is already one use-case developed so far: Bitcoin Account Abstraction.

I was told by my friends at CL that they could help integration on non-EVM chains.

But with Supernova you have an even broader use-case here for CCIP.

You have 3 days before AZ expires. Why not start a smaller chat w/ some devs and your contact, scope it out, and resubmit
