# Frustrating episodes of embedded node not syncing!

The problem is the peer-to-peer connection of the embedded node. You can edit the `config.json` as follows:

```json
"Net": {
        "MinPeers": 8,
        "MaxPeers": 16,
        "MaxPendingPeers": 8,
        "MinConnectedPeers": 8
    }

```

What we should do to improve the embedding node syncing performance:

1. Upgrade the p2p networking layer of `znnd`. [libp2p](https://libp2p.io/) is a good candidate.
2. Increase the public node count in the network. I’ve proposed several methods to [incentivize](https://forum.hypercore.one/t/network-of-momentum-phase-1/253/51) public full nodes for a healthy p2p network.
